We offer Help and support for Bereavement, Grief and Loss.
When we suffer a Bereavement or a Significant Loss, Or when we are diagnosed with a Life Changing Illness or Life-Limiting Illness.
And when we experience the Loss of a loved one or experience a significant loss of any kind, such as a suicide or a relationship ending or a divorce.
We generally and quite probably engage in some troubling thoughts and we experience some of these feelings below.
Anxiety, Depression, Resentment, Guilt, Anger are just a few things that you could be experiencing?
Maybe these feelings could lead to you developing a ‘preoccupation’ with thought and worry, rather than, and in addition to your loss or trauma?
Furthermore, this may then lead you down a path of worrying about almost anything and everything.
These worries can be non-specific to the death, trauma or loss and not even concerning the initial loss at all.
As a result and because of these losses, It may feel like you are going crazy, but to reassure you, these feelings are typical reactions, due to significant losses and hence, are very normal reactions to abnormal situations.
Its not Every day that we Suffer a Bereavement or a Significant Loss.
We aren’t diagnosed with a life-changing illness every day.
We don’t get divorced or suffer a Significant Loss or Trauma every day either.
These are infrequent and extremely traumatic ‘Life Changing’ events for most people.
Furthermore … Counselling can help you tremendously in processing some of the thoughts and emotions associated with these events.
We are Specialists in Bereavement Counselling, Grief and Loss.
