In extreme cases, acute and chronic anxiety can lead to Agoraphobia. The fear of the outdoors, or the fear of places or situations that might cause you to panic.
As a rule; It’s the fear of having a panic attack that can be almost as bad as having one for some sufferers.
What are the ‘Effects of Anxiety’ on the Physical Body?
The symptoms mentioned above are a few examples of how anxiety can affect the physical body. Such as Excessive Sweating and Panic Attacks. Similarly; Although not quite so debilitating. The Avoidance of minor social events can be an issue for many people. This, of course, can lead to social isolation and more anxiety.
